CORINO ANNOUNCES (PREMATURE?) RETURN

After the ZERO-ONE United States title match between Ricky Landell and Kid America ended in a disqualification due to interference of his Axis Of Evil team mates (Jihad, Chemical Khan, and The Monster C), Teddy Fine, Kevin Payne, and STEVE CORINO hit the ring to help America.

Corino, who is out with a separated shoulder and fractured collarbone, announced that he will come back to active competition on July 26 in Kirkwood for Slam & Bowl and didn't rule out doing something at 3K Goes Extreme in Beckley, WV on July 24.  In fact Corino wants to be in partial wrestling shape for July 12 at B4W's event in Morganville, NJ.

"I can't sit down and just watch.  I am not a bench player.  I need to be in the game.  I don't care if the shoulder is not going to be 100% because I have worked through plenty of injuries.  I am not getting any younger either.  I can't guarantee how good I will be but I am going to give it my all.  But Ricky Landell, here is the challege: August 22, One-on-One.  Be a man, stand up, and see if you can take this old horse down again. I am betting no." said Steve Corino after the matches.  Corino also mentioned that he will talk more about coming back and if it was too early this week on SteveCorino.com.

NEW PREMIER TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS

The Inner Circle of Denver Street, Tommy Thunda, and Vinnie Vertigo were crowned the 17th Premier tag team champions on Sunday, June 29 when they defeated Paul Jaurdine and Larry Legend in a decision match after Steve Corino and Kid America had to vacate the titles on June 15.

Man Mountain Mest and Marcus KING KONG Dowling played a big part in this match leading up to the finish when the referee, Dave Kehner, was discrated allowing Mest to use all 500+ pounds to crush Jaurdine.
