Former wrestling promoter Robert Zicari, known professionally as Rob Black, and wife Janet Romano, known professionally as Lizzy Borden, pled guilty this morning in federal court to one count of conspiracy to distribute obscene materials. Zicari also pled guilty on behalf of his pornographic company Extreme Associates, Inc. The couple and company had been indicted following an April 2003 raid on their offices by federal agents.
Zicari and Romano were the owners of Xtreme Pro Wrestling (XPW) before leaving the professional wrestling business and eventually selling the company to Big Vision Entertainment.
