High School Football Championships, New Jersey Devils and New York Rangers Hockey and no less than 4 wrestling promotions running events on Saturday Night, November 21 and while NWS can't speak for others, their show in Ridgefield Park in front of a lighter than usual crowd was one of the hottest shows of the year and the reason crowds come back week after week. And even in front of a lighter crowd, the wrestlers gave not only 100% but in most cases, stepped it up beyond.

Match #1
The opening contest was a tag team match between the undefeated Nigerian Nightmares (with Voodoo Princess Sheeta) thoroughly defeating the team of Tiger Man and Goat Boy. Goat Boy was so afraid when he saw the Nightmares that he left a little present in the ring (something security had to clean up before the start of the match). Goat Boy tried using his horns to ram the Nightmares, only to have his head rammed to the mat. The devistation continued until the Nightmares put their hapless foes down for the 1-2-3 count.

Match #2
WSU Spirit Championship Bout pitting champion Britney Savage (with her valet Rick Cataldo) against her former tag team partner and friend Alicia. Savage. who two weeks ago took on Beth Phoenix on Smackdown must have learned a little from her TV opponent as in recent weeks, has become more vicious and cunning.  She tried getting counted out of the ring only to have NWS/WSU Commissioner Gino Moore tell the referee this bout cannot be determined by count out and the match must continue. While the ref battled Cataldo, Savage and Alicia battled in and out of the ring and it appeared that Alicia had the champ down before Cataldo distracted the referee and pushed him twice, getting Savage disqualified (thus keeping her title).

Match #3
Six Man Tag Team Match with Soul Assassin, Manny More and Danny Demanto taking on the team of Blade Michaels, J.P. Pierce and NWS cruiserweight champp Joey Janela. The six men battled for nearly 10 minutes before the ref got hit with a chair by More. While this was going on, Michaels and Pierce battled More and Demanto outside the ring and Janela got the pin on the Soul Assassin.

Match #4
This was an NWS heavyweight title bout pitting champion Corrupted Corey Havoc against Indian Brave Draven. Havoc, accompanied to ringside by his manager Gigolo Joe Jones and his bodyguard Kevin Matthews thought they were going to have an easy night with a 3 on 1 on Draven before Commissioner Gino Moore (no relation to Manny More) told Matthews he had to leave ringside or he would lose not only his main event, but his pay as well. With Matthews gone, Draven still had to watch out for the manager, who constantly distrated the referee and at the end, managed to throw the NWS title belt between the ref's legs to Havoc who hit Draven and the ref counted 1-2-3. After the match, the assault continued and Matthews came back to the ring beating down on Draven before former WWE star Tatanka made the save.

Match 5
Illegal Out Of Space Alien took on Pastor George. The Alien was accompanied to ringside by his translator J.D. Smooth (who insisted he be on the show even though he wasn't booked and unlike Matthews did do his paperwork, which allowed him to stay at ringside). While normally this would work to the Alien's advantage, the lack of communication allowed Pastor George to win the match.

Match 6
NWS Junior Heavyweight champion The Love Machine Nicky Oceans took on former WWE training camp stand out Damian Adams. Both wrestlers have met in the past with Adams coming up on the winning side most times and Oceans had his game face on and took it to Adams for 10 minutes before the time limit expired. When Adams tried to get five more minutes, Oceans said "the fans paid their money, they saw me for 10 minutes and that's enough" and left.

Match 7
The main event saw former WWE star Tatanka take on the man personally fired by Vince McMahon for being Too Cocky Kevin Matthews, who came to the ring with his manager Gigolo Joe Jones. Matthews and Tatanka wrestled for nearly 20 minutes, with lots of two counts and action in and out of the ring, keeping fans on the edge of their seats before Tatanka hit Matthews for the finish, sending the fans home happy
