Force One Pro Wrestling on 1/24 in Hammonton, NJ; full card announced PDF Print E-mail
Saturday, December 27, 2008

On January 24th, 2009, Force One Pro Wrestling will roll in the new year at their newest venue, the Roll Way Skating Rink in Hammonton, NJ with one of their best shows ever.

Commissioner Tommy Cairo has used the Christmas holiday to put together one of the most exciting and prolific shows on the independent wrestling circuit in some time.

As reported previously, newly crowned Force One Heavyweight Champion White Lotus takes on former champion Danny Doring, who "retained" the championship belt after being stripped of the title by Cairo, due to interference from his "personal referee" Spanky 123. Doring is holding a grudge, and plans on taking his frustrations out on local hero White Lotus.

Former WCW women's star Little Jeanne returns to Force One to take on Trixie Lynn, who is making her Force One debut.

The team of Crazy Ivan and Pete Nixon, known as the Repeat Offenders, will take on the newly formed tag team of Chiki Cortes and Panther (with the mammoth Angel), now known as the Latin Express.

The Rockin Rebel, who was put out of action by the Million Dollar Stable, returns to take out some revenge on Millionaire Ted Jr, as he battles Force One Iron League Champion Patch. Commissioner Cairo has yet to announce the stipulations for this match, but with these two heavy hitters in the ring, it's going to be interesting.

Johnny Calzone made his presence known at the November show in Egg Harbor Township, when he interrupted a match to hand a beatdown to "The Hybrid" Josh Adams. Calzone says that he & Josh have a past. Adams doesn't know or care what the past is, he just wants this guy out of his life for good. Calzone will make his official debut at "Moment of Truth" on January 24th.

As always, Cairo looks ahead to find the next challenger for any one of the Force One titles, and this show will host a 4 way dance to decide who will be the number one contender for the Iron League Championship, currently held by Patch, who took the title from Breaker Morant in November. The opponents in the ring that night will include former Iron League Champion Morant, Big Bear (with his manager, Millionaire Ted Jr), former Junior Heavyweight Champion Diego DeMarco (with manager Jimmy Clydesdale), and "The Midnight Idol" Nicky Benz.

Danny "Inferno" Gimondo has been doing a lot of bitching to Commissioner Cairo about being moved "down the ladder" of rankings at Force One. That being said, he seems preoccupied with a personal vendetta that he has with the popular Judas Young. Cairo is letting this grudge between the two play itself out before deciding Gimondo's fate at Force One.

Ryu Lee has had 2 unsuccessful attempts in taking the Force One Junior Heavyweight belt from current title holder RV1, who has retained the title mostly due to interference from his manager, Millionaire Ted Jr. RV1 has felt that on both occasions he had the match under control, and that he didn't need Ted's help for the victory. He has asked his manager to stay out of the action for this title defense. What will this do to Ryu Lee's chances on the 24th?

Also appearing that evening, referees Mike Walker, Just Johnny, and Spanky 123, ring announcer Phil Varlese, "The Pretty Hate Machine" Jason Gotti, the roller girls from the Boardwalk Bullies, John Solo, the staff & students of Force One, and the return of Razor Rivera!

Doors open at 7 pm, with a 7:30 pm bell time. Tickets are $12 for general admission, and can be purchased at the door on the night of the show, or in advance by calling 732-604-9927.  Roll Way Skating Rink is at 131 South 2nd Rd in Hammonton, right off the Atlantic City Expressway.
