CWF MID-ATLANTIC'S "TITLE TURMOIL" IS THIS SATURDAY! Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium 1813 Frank Holt Dr., Burlington NC 7:30 PM bell time
*** New Mid-Atlantic TV Champion to be crowned! *** Mid-Atlantic Tag Team Titles on the line! *** Ultra J Title showdown!
CWF MID-ATLANTIC is thrilled to be back in action this weekend with "Title Turmoil" LIVE at the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium located at 1813 Frank Holt Dr in Burlington, NC.
Three enormous championship bouts will take place on Saturday night including the crowning of a brand new Mid-Atlantic Television Champion! With Lee Valiant sidelined due to a concussion, a new champion must be decided and we will get that new champion Saturday night at "Title Turmoil." Over a dozen stars from all over the Carolinas and Virginia have petitioned for inclusion in the chaotic championship battle royal that will see the final two return later in the night for a one-on-one bout with the winner becoming the new champion. Names confirmed for the battle royal include "King of Heat" GEMINI KID; former 2-Time TV Champion "High Definition" STEVE GREENE; the Sindicate's MICHAEL McALLISTER another former TV Champion; big RAY KANDRACK; CECIL SCOTT; ALEX ADONIS w/ Crystal Clear; Fatback's "Young Gun" NICK RICHARDS; ROY "Rage" WILKINS; former RGL Champion MATT SMITH; 2008 RGL tournament winner CHIVA KID; 2009 Rumble winner ARIK ROYAL and more! Remember the last two men left standing at the end will come back later on in the card at "Title Turmoil" and battle in a "sudden death" one fall match for the vacate Mid-Atlantic Television Championship.
Another major championship bout slated for Saturday night's card will see number one contenders THE AFTERMATH of MARCELLUS KING & JAXON DANE face Mid-Atlantic Tag-Team Champions FATBACK ENTERPRISES of COREY EDSEL & DONNIE DOLLAR$. This one has been brewing for over a month since Aftermath attacked Fatback at the conclusion of Battlecade X. King & Dane survived nearly 20 other wrestlers to capture the number one contendership in a grueling tag-team battle royal back at Battlecade and now they get their title opportunity at "Title Turmoil." One important factor to keep in mind will be the presence of Aftermath mastermind William L. Cross and Fatback manager Brad Stutts at ringside. Anything could happen and probably will when four of CWF's most powerful wrestlers are in action with the high stakes of the tag-team championship while two of CWF's most controversial personalities are at ringside.
Three huge championship bouts will take place but FOUR titles are on the line! In one of the huge main events, World Light Heavyweight Champion "Krazy K" KIRBY MACK will defend against Ultra J Champion XSIRIS in a title versus title match! Both championships will be on the line in this winner take all grudge match that was made back at New Year's Knockout when Kirby surprisingly confronted the cocky Ultra J Champ and offered to put his title on the line as well in one huge showdown! That showdown takes place this Saturday night and eyes from all over the country will be on the Sportatorium to see who walks out as the double champion and can lay claim to being the best junior heavyweight in the Mid-Atlantic!
Mid-Atlantic Heavyweight Champion KAMAKAZI KID will be in the house to address the crowd in preparation for his scheduled title defense on Saturday February 20th against "The 1st" RIC CONVERSE. The former 5-time Mid-Atlantic Hwt. Champion Converse had vowed to make it number six at Battlecade but that turned out to be Kazi's night to shine. Converse did slip past Brass Munkey in a battle of top contender's at New Year's Knockout to earn a shot at the title this Saturday and both champion and challenger will be in attendance Saturday night.
Girls tag-team action goes down Saturday at "Title Turmoil" as AMBER O'NEAL and BECKY BAYLESS will be in the house to face PERSEPHONE and KRISTIN FLAKE! Four of wrestling's sexiest ladies will be going into all out war inside the Mid-Atlantic Sportatorium! Plus more great matches including JOEY SILVIA & TY DILLINGER of Destiny; RGL Champion ROO D. LEWIS; and much more! Remember to get there early as the Television Championship Battle Royal will be first on the card! The final two men left in the ring return later in the card to face off for the Mid-Atlantic Television Title!

+++CWF Rising Generation League Champion "One Man Boy Band" Roo-D Lewis began the evening only to be interrupted by the Sindicate, who sent the newly-crowned champion out of the arena in search of a "tag team partner". Lewis re-emerged through the entrance with "Dangerous E" Corey Edsel in tow, and a referee was called to the ring.
+++PWI Ultra-J Crown Champion Xsiris entered the ring between bouts to verbally assault anyone and everyone within sight before singling out Chase Dakota for supposedly interfering in his business. Dakota emerged and didn't back down from the challenge, despite the continued ranting of the Ultra-J champion and his manager. From the entrance, "Krazy K" Kirby Mack emerged and headed straight into the ring. Mack challenged Xsiris to defend the Ultra-J Crown Championship and to make the deal sweeter, added his own AWA World Light Heavyweight Title to entice X to sign the match. Xsiris agreed to the terms of the bout and before the evening was finished, the official announcement was made that Xsiris will defend his title against Mack's title on Saturday February 6th at CWF TITLE TURMOIL!
+++CWF Mid Atlantic Television Champion Lee Valiant asked for the house mic and entered the ring following intermission. In a heart-felt outpouring of emotion, he then explained his recent history of head injuries which was most recently aggravated at the Traditional Carolina Wrestling event following the initial injury at CWF Battlecade X. Valiant surrendered the CWF Television Title, walking away with his head down, leaving the brilliant trophy lying in the center of the ring.
+++Aftermath's "the 1st" Ric Converse stole a big one from Brass Munkey with the help of his manager and his collapsible steel baton. Munkey left the arena with help from the ring officials complaining of a very sore injured arm, which was visibly reddened and swollen as he finally was able to leave the arena. Converse, by virtue of the win, will be granted the next CWF Mid Atlantic Heavyweight Title at a future event.
